Virginia Angquico, Human Resources Manager, is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and has worked within the field of Human Resources for over 10 years. She studied Psychology and received her Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). Prior to joining Education Through Music-Los Angeles (ETM-LA), Virginia worked in the Office of Human Resources at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) where she assisted in employing more than 4,000 faculty, staff, and student assistants. Before creating a career in Human Resources, Virginia was an educator. At Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), she spent over 3 years where she had the privilege of educating incarcerated youth, and also worked at California Psychcare as a Program Coordinator and Behavioral Consultant for children with autism. She is extremely passionate about both fields of Human Resources and education, and is ecstatic to be able to fuse both her passions into one by fulfilling ETM-LA’s mission in providing music education to students in under-resourced communities.
