Samantha Kao is a versatile pianist, vocalist, and educator originally from New Jersey. In December 2020, she received her Bachelor of Musical Arts with a Piano Performance concentration from University of Michigan. Prior to relocating to Los Angeles, Samantha taught private piano lessons and worked as a substitute teacher at Ann Arbor Public Schools. Her main objective as a teacher is to provide an accessible, positive, and enriching learning environment for her students, and to always keep growing as a person and artist. Samantha joined the ETMLA team this year as a music teacher, and is excited to immerse herself in the vibrant communities here and to provide the best music education experience to her students.
