Matt Brundrett (General Music, Percussion, Recorder, and Ukulele) holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz and Contemporary Music from the New School University where he studied Drumset, Percussion, and Small Group Ensemble Performance with masters including Reggie Workman, Jojo Mayer and Bobby Sanabria. He also holds a K-12 certificate in music education for New York State which he received at Brooklyn College. He has also studied classical percussion at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, Massachusetts. While in New York City, in addition to being a active part of the New York’s varied music scene Matthew was a teaching artist intern at ETM New York. He and his wife moved to Los Angeles in April of 2013 and he is excited to be working with the partner schools here on the west coast.
