Alex Collie-Hartmann is a vocalist and guitarist who specializes in general music education. He has a Bachelors of Music Education from The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and three levels of Kodály certification. He has been teaching grades K-12 in Los Angeles since 2012, focusing his efforts in under-resourced communities. He is very passionate about creating a community in his classrooms for everyone to feel welcome and safe where they can learn best. Whenever Alex is not creating, teaching, or listening to music he likes to spend his time with his wife and cat.
