Abigail Barrett, Instructional Supervisor and Music Teacher, is a California State University Channel Islands Alum where she earned her degree in Performing Arts and a K-8 Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Abigail spent years in music entertainment in Southern California as a lead vocalist and recording artist prior to discovering her calling in music education Abigail began her music education career as a co-director for the Pleasant Valley School District Children’s choir and a private vocal instructor. Abigail taught 2 years of general education and went on to teach general and vocal music instruction to students in Ocean City New Jersey and established a school music program for grades K-8 in Atlantic City. With a passion for music education, Abigail is honored to be part of the Education Through Music Los Angeles team and continues her dedication to supporting ETM-LA’s mission.
