Abiah is a proud first-generation Latina with a degree in Music Performance and Education from California State University, Northridge. As an oboist, she’s had the joy of performing at venues like The Soraya and the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Now in her first year with ETM-LA, she’s excited to share her love of music with students in under-resourced schools. Through her work, she aims to make music a core subject, helping students grow in confidence, improve academically, and discover a lifelong passion for learning.
