Spotlight on Xina,
Volunteer Coordinator

Xina is a singer/songwriter and is originally from Austin, TX. She moved to LA for school and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts and her Master of Arts in Worship Studies. She grew up singing, acting, and dancing.

Her passions were supported and cultivated through her own experience in music education as a young child. She believes music education is a vital part of childhood development, as it breeds many skills, not just within the arts.

What do you enjoy most about working with ETM-LA?

Education Through Music-LA brings hope and fun where it is needed most. I love being part of a movement that is so active and present in the lives of our next generation. We are privileged with the opportunity to share something so vital and so important to young lives, the power of music.

What do you enjoy most about working with volunteers?

Working with the volunteer program is always so humbling. The people who choose to serve this mission out of their own time, ability, and resources do so with no desire for attention or reward. Our volunteers want to see our students served well and the community of Los Angeles impacted for good.
