Christopher Lovejoy was born in New York City and grew up in Houston, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of North Texas.
Before his recent foray into teaching Chris traveled the world for 20 years performing and recording with artists such as Feist, Norah Jones, Mos Def, Charlie Hunter, Chris Pierce, Matt Nathanson and many more.
He has recorded on soundtracks for the TV show This Is Us and the movie This Is 40.
He is delighted to be working with ETM-LA and looks forward to bringing his love of music and his performing experience into the classroom!
