Arvi Lapuz is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where she received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Though she is based in the San Fernando Valley, Arvi is a native of Long Beach, CA, where she performed primarily as a vocalist throughout the city, for organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and Goodwill, and she served as a judge for several citywide singing competitions. In her high school and junior college years, Arvi stepped into a leadership role by serving as the Student Assistant Director for the choirs. In her 20’s, Arvi also worked as Musical Director for several community theaters and performance academies, where she performed and starred in various shows as well. Although Arvi loved to perform, she still had a hunger for teaching music.
Today, Arvi is thrilled to be a part of ETM-LA, where she gets the opportunities to teach music, collaborate, and create special moments with children in under-resourced communities. This summer, June 2025, Arvi will be completing the third and final level course for the Orff Shulwerk approach.
