Summer Music Program
During the month of June, ETM-LA hosts a Summer Music Program for beginning and intermediate band, strings, & general music students entering 4th through 8th grade who want to begin or continue their music education.
Monday, June 15 – Friday, June 26, 2026 | 8:30am-11:45pm
Registration closes on May 31, 2026 or until capacity is reached. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Frequently Asked Questions
What experience levels are accepted?
The program is open to:
- Beginning Students: 0–1 year of experience
- Intermediate Students: 1+ years of experience
What instruments can students learn?
Instrument options depend on the selected program and location. Options include:
- Band Instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, percussion)
- String Instruments (violin, viola, cello)
- Guitar and Ukulele
- Modern Band Instruments (electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, vocals, etc.)
- Choir (no instrument required)
Does my child need to have their own instrument?
No. Students are welcome to:
- Use their own instrument
- Borrow one from their school music program
- Request to borrow one from the summer program (limited availability)
How do I choose the right class for my child?
Select a program based on your child’s interest, experience level, and preferred location. If your child does not currently play an instrument, they can choose one they would like to learn.
