Virginia Angquico

Virginia Angquico, Senior Human Resources Manager, brings over 13 years of Human Resources experience and holds both the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credentials. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB).

Prior to joining Education Through Music-Los Angeles (ETM-LA), Virginia worked in the Office of Human Resources at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where she supported the employment of more than 4,000 faculty, staff, and student employees.

Before transitioning into Human Resources, Virginia was an educator. She spent over three years with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), where she had the privilege of teaching incarcerated youth. She also served as a Program Coordinator and Behavioral Consultant at California Psychcare, supporting children with autism and their families.

Virginia is deeply passionate about both Human Resources and education. At ETM-LA, she is honored to combine these passions by supporting the organization’s mission of providing high-quality music education to students in under-resourced communities.
