Matthew Margeson

Matthew Margeson is a percussionist and music educator with a background in performance, touring, and music education. He studied percussion at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and has developed a diverse career as a professional musician. His work has taken him to stages and musical communities internationally, bringing a broad range of performance experiences to his teaching.

Based in Los Angeles, Matthew has also been featured as an artist on KCRW, connecting his professional music career with the vibrant Los Angeles music scene. As an educator, he is passionate about helping students discover their own musical voices and experience the creativity, confidence, and sense of community that music can provide.
