James Kerrigan

James Kerrigan is a performer and educator based out of the San Fernando Valley. Born in Seattle, Wahington, James was a member of the Northwest Boychoir for 10 years where he discovered his love for music. He performed with the Seattle Symphony annually under direction of Conductors Mateo Messina and Ludovic Morlot. He later explored instruments like piano and drums, and entered Musical Theater in High school, receiving his school’s “Outstanding Singer Award” and deciding to study music in College. After moving to Los Angeles in 2019, James graduated from CSUN in 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Voice Performance and a Minor in Theater Performance. In college he continued to study classical vocal works as well as Jazz vocal works. Today he performs Opera and Theater and teaches both privately and in a classroom setting. James teaches at ETM-LA because he believes every child deserves access to music.
