Esperanza Hart

Music Teacher Intern

Esperanza Hart – I have been working with children since 2011 and graduated from San Francisco State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development. Over the past two years, I’ve taught preschool through elementary-age students, supporting both their academic growth and social-emotional development. I am a proud educator and advocate for our LGBTQ+ and Black community.

Music has been a forever passion of mine and a journey I very much want to learn and grow from. I have been singing since I was 4 years old and have been a part of a gospel choir, performances in San Francisco, and many others, which deepened my love for sharing music with children. I believe that music speaks volumes. It is a way to build connection, confidence and joy in children’s lives.

As a Music Teacher Intern, I’m excited to learn and create an engaging, supportive and inspiring learning environment for all of my students.
