Tara Causland, Program Coordinator, began playing the violin, guitar, and clarinet as a child. She studied the violin under Virginia Vinal, who has been the longest-serving member of the Missoula Symphony Orchestra, and later under Robin Enders. Tara has performed in ensembles with the clarinet and violin and has sung in choirs both in and out of school.

She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law at which she was an Articles Editor for the Washington Law Review.
Prior to joining ETM-LA, Tara worked as a federal investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor and then segued into the entertainment industry in which she worked in a variety of areas, including television and film development, writing, producing, and distribution. She is delighted to join ETM-LA to help ensure children have the opportunity to incorporate music into their lives.
