Olivia Richardson received her M.M in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019 with a concentration in Arts Administration. She is passionate about researching and exploring the benefits of general music integration in early childhood education – particularly as it relates to literacy rates in underserved communities.
In addition to her work at ETM-LA, Olivia maintains a small private piano studio in the Burbank area. Her favorite part of teaching happens when a student finds a piece of music they LOVE and can’t stay away from the piano! To her, cultivating the joy of music and using it to enrich the lives of others is the most fulfilling occupation. Olivia considers herself so privileged to be a part of the team at ETM-LA that seeks to fulfill such a mission.
When not working or teaching, Olivia enjoys going to the climbing gym, reading mystery novels, listening to true crime podcasts, trying a new recipe, or hiking in Griffith Park with her beloved dog, Judie, and husband, Tyler!
