Marta Hovhannisyan

Marta Hovhannisyan holds her masters of vocal performance from University of California Santa Barbara where she took on two lead roles in the opera’s Don Giovanni and The Magic Flute by Mozart. During her graduate studies, Marta worked at The Music Academy of the West where she was a choral director for their Sing! program. Alongside working as a choral director Marta held her own private studio where she taught both piano and voice. Marta has performed many recitals, concerts, and master classes, as well as received the Nancy Hooker scholarship for her talent and skills. During her undergrad, Marta has been a part of four operas, having lead roles in three. In the summer of 2019, she was invited to be a part of the American Institution of Musical Studies (AIMS), where she traveled to Austria to be in an intensive learning system for most of her summer. Through her musical career her passion for teaching has grown and continues to grow as she takes on her new position at ETM-LA.
