Esther Trigueros, Development Associate, received a B.A. in Sociology and a Minor in Global Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. During her college career, she volunteered for UCLA Unicamp, a non-profit focusing on community development for underserved schools in the Los Angeles area. She gained experience in fundraising, donor relations, report writing, recruitment, and community outreach. She also served as a Corps Member for AmeriCorps’ Jumpstart program, working closely with school principals and community leaders to promote community involvement in inner-city schools and help close the achievement gap.
Esther’s passion for music began at the age of 8 when she learned to play flute through her public school’s music education program. As a former constituent of the population ETM-LA serves, she is excited to have the opportunity to give back to her community and make music education a reality for students of all backgrounds.
