This past March, after months of preparation, the game plan was set to go into motion for Education Through Music-Los Angeles’s 10th Annual Music Unites the World Festival. ETM-LA staff had begun load-in at the 2020 festival venue, when word arrived that all outside events were immediately cancelled for the foreseeable future. Read More

Despite the cancellation, ETM-LA’s drive to hold this festival has never wavered. Now, as virtual connection has become the answer during this time of Safer at Home, the solution is obvious. The virtual show must go on!

Education Through Music-Los Angeles premiered its 10th Annual Music Unites the World Festival on Facebook Live and YouTube on Friday, May 22nd at 5pm PST (with an encore showing on Saturday, May 23rd at 2pm PST). Hosted by Actor/Musician Ricardo Hurtado (Malibu Rescue) and Singer/Actress Bridget Barrera (Wizards of Waverly Place), this year’s virtual festival included student performances, award-winning essays, interactive music activities — including a percussion class from Arthur Thompson (Dave Koz) and a sing-along! — and the first-ever ETM-LA virtual choir performance.
