Karen Brown (General Music, Voice, LA’s Best Partnership) holds a BA in Music from California State University, Northridge. She was introduced to the entertainment world as a child in movies, TV and commercials. Her musical theater credits include the understudy role of “Evita” in the Los Angeles national touring company of Evita at the Shubert Theater; “Lady Larkin” in Once Upon a Mattress at the Comedy Dinner Theater, Tucson, Az; “Jean” in Brigadoon and “Peep-Bo” in The Mikado at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, Santa Maria, CA. Her gifts as a dancer extend to choreography including such operas as The Ballad of Baby Doe and The Marriage of Figaro. She participated in master classes under the tutelage of Dr. Leo Podolsky, spent a decade of ensemble performance as piano/keyboardist with John Tesh and his liturgical band and continues to offer her musical talents in many L.A. area congregations. For 15 years she was Assistant Director/Accompanist of the Notre Dame High School Choir in Sherman Oaks, CA. Karen is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and Actor’s Equity Association.
