Ann Carrick, Communications Associate, graduated from Maryville University-St. Louis, where she received a degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Music. Growing up singing, playing piano, and, still now, composing, Ann firmly believes in providing music for all children as a creative outlet and opportunity for intellectual growth. Before coming to Education Through Music-Los Angeles, she had gained several years of research experience at a variety of locations and universities, including Washington University (St. Louis), Washington University School of Medicine, and Maryville University. She also pursued graduate studies in Psychology at Washington University (St. Louis). She has enjoyed the passionate and musical environment at ETM-LA, which is a testament to her decision to more fully pursue music and be involved with environments based in music.
